holiday and template update
Author: mark
I will be back to regular blogging very soon. My blog’s theme is temporarily changed to this one since, for reasons unknown, WordPress.com is only displaying their default template pictures in the header of my theme, and my custom pic is not showing up in the header at all.
Oddly, my pic is all present and accounted for in the Presentation editor, but when I re-save and upload it, ta-da… all I get is the default WordPress pic. This only started in the last few days, and a few other WordPress.com bloggers are reporting the same issue. When the WordPress team returns from vacation on January 2nd, I hope they will be addressing this.
Update: 04 Jan 07 - Thank you for the fix, WordPress.
read comments (14)Communication and the Art of Giving
Author: mark

Take a jump over to Transforming Communication where James Souttar applies the concepts and principles of The Art of Giving to the process of communication, discussed in his post Communication and Giving.
We have been discussing these principles here for the last month or so. The best way to learn deeper principles is to both study them and to also apply them to our everyday life situations. The principles discussed on this site are universal principles that have enormous power to transform lives and life. The more ways we find to apply and integrate principles, the quicker we learn and the deeper and more comprehensively we can become aligned to their power. Application is the key.

hearing an inner voice
Author: mark

Kay has a very nice blog at Neosnoia. I visit there often and have been following a couple of posts about hearing a Voice inside of us. It ties in very nicely with a comment recently left on my blog by Speck. Kay said:
A few days ago I decided to “put it all out there” regarding my experience with The Voice while I was praying. The experience was mind-blowing, and I haven’t been the same since.
Her posts are titled Who Am I and On the Altar. Maybe you have had similar experiences that you could share with this fellow traveler. I am sure she would be delighted to hear from you.
